    Position Overview: ****

    • As the Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for participating in the end-to-end Payroll functions including processing payroll, tax compliance and payroll audit process. This individual should possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in Payroll. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, as well as technical, problem solving and analytical skills are essential. They must be able to work in a team environment which is fast-paced and deadline-driven.

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: ****

    • Enter/validate all employee changes including New Hire, Taxes, Time Off, Deductions,
    • Review and process employee workflows in ADP for tax changes, address changes, etc.

    • Monitor Payroll mailbox for incoming documents, questions, and requests

    • Upload various Payroll Earnings into ADP

    • Review and process Wage Attachments including correspondence with Agency and Employee

    • Create off cycle payments as necessary

    |

    • Review and track incoming tax notices, upload in ADP for resolution (on Smart Compliance), review employees' tax records and suggest resolutions/corrections, review Quarterly Returns and maintain company records
    • Distribute and address employee inquiries on W2s

    |

    • Conduct Payroll audits including: Time Cards, State and Local Income Taxes, Payroll Projections, etc… before and after Payroll
    • Partner with various department leaders and employees to provide information and support.
    • Special projects as necessary

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with outsourced payroll. ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus

    • Must have strong knowledge of payroll principles, procedures, and regulations on the federal, state, and local levels.

    • Experience processing multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees required.

    • Strong skills in excel working with complex formulas (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, etc.)

    • Knowledge of ADP Report Writing is a must

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Highly organized, rigorous and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high energy environment

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and is resourceful, creative and can juggle multiple projects meeting challenging deadlines

    • Able to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment

    • Knowledge and experience preparing journal entries a plus

    The pay range for this position is $60K - 65K depending on relevant experience.

    • Must be able to obtain Lockout/Tagout Certification
    • May be required to obtain a power Walker License
    • Must be able to become HACCP certified
    • GED/HS diploma;
