  • Responsibilities

    HealthFitness has a flexible part-time opportunity for multiple SERVICE DESK ATTENDANTS at our client's large community health and fitness center located in PEWAUKEE, WISCONSIN. As the Service Desk Attendant, you will be the first face that the customer sees as they enter the facility. In this position, you will be responsible for greeting, checking-in and assisting customers; providing information on programs, services, and membership; and ensuring the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction. You must also be able to do light laundry and locker room duties. This position includes a flexible part-time schedule working approximately 10 hours per week.

     

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Greet, check in and assist customers.
    • Answer phones and direct questions to appropriate managers.
    • Efficiently respond to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and bring issues to the correct manager for resolution.
    • Collect, wash and dry towels and Spa laundry.
    • Light cleaning and maintenance within the locker rooms.
    • Opening and/or closing responsibilities, and other duties and projects as assigned.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Must be at least 16 years old. 
    • CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred, but will be required within first 90 days of employment.
    • Previous customer service experience preferred.
    • Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
    • Ability to multitask while working quickly and accurately.
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop effective business relationships within all levels of the organization; must have clear and pleasant communication over the phone.
    • Ability to perform light lifting tasks and ability to stand for approximately five hours.
    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
    • Computer proficiency including, at minimum, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and intermediate Excel proficiency.

  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through on the job training or experience.
    • Five years of experience working or supervising in the vocation trades including, but not necessarily limited to, HVAC, Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical. 
    • Two to three years experience supervising or acting in a lead capacity in a production or production maintenance environment.
