Security Guard - Physical Plant Punahou - Honolulu, HI The Physical Plant office supports and maintains 75 acres of campus and nearly 1 million square feet of instructional space. A vital part of the Physical Plant office is the Security Team that provides general campus and building security, while often serving as the primary responders to accidents or incidents involving potential emergency response. The Security Guards provide protection to people and property on campus and assists in the handling of traffic flow, access to parking, and event management. They assist the public by giving directions, information, escort services, and other aid, as needed. Punahou School is actively recruiting a per diem Security Guard to join the Physical Plant team! The Security Guard focuses on maintaining a visible presence in public areas, observing incidents, acting, and notifying others according to established school protocols. The Security Guard will patrol campus buildings and grounds to prevent or deal with any incidents of theft, vandalism, fire or fire hazards, disorderly conduct, violation of school traffic, safety, security, or other regulations.
