MiTek's Mechanical Solutions Division is seeking qualified Marketing and Communications Interns to assist our growing marketing department.  These positions are located in Edmond, OK and will be responsible for the development and distribution of content on behalf of the Mechanical Solutions Division of MiTek Industries.  This position reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager.

Position Summary:  Assist in the development of surveys, collection and interpretation of marketing data, writing articles, producing instructional video content and designing multi-media materials for departments and brands across the Mechanical Solutions Division. Applicant must have strong organization skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position will interact with a variety of external and internal customers on a routine basis.  

Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Majoring in Business, Communications, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field, please apply.
• Skilled/AP writing, editing and verbal communication skills; customer interaction skills; solid organizational skills; and the ability to quickly prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite, Outlook or similar. Familiarity with major social media platforms, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe CC suite, preferred.
• Will prefer candidates with experience in content management (website), video production, editing and creating digital graphics.

Office Hours and Travel Required:

Part-time, M-F 8am-5pm; up to 5% travel
