RESEARCH PROGRAM COORDINATOR, School of Medicine, Slone Epidemiology Center
We seek a research program coordinator / program manager to join the research group of the long-standing Boston University Slone Epidemiology Center. This individual will oversee research programs, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, for multiple studies on cognition and brain aging in American Indian and Alaska Native adults. We seek enthusiastic applicants who are dedicated to working towards reducing racial disparities in health. Experience with community-based participatory research methodology is a plus. Primary responsibilities of this role include supervision of program staff, management of administrative aspects of grant and funded programs including annual reports; management and support of multi-institutional collaborative networks; management of ethical review process including IRB, RRB, and Tribal Council applications and renewals; management of participant recruitment and tracking process; tracking quality control methods and metrics; support for data collection and data management, including development and maintenance of data collection instruments and data bases as needed; support for results and data dissemination and reporting, as needed; and other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
MPH, MS, or equivalent degree desired. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills required Strong time management skills and being detail-oriented required 2-5 years experience supporting clinical, observational, or public health research required Individuals with experience related to populations or groups traditionally underrepresented in medical research encouraged to apply.
