    Required Qualifications: **** This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Two (2) years of recent and verifiable experience working with heating, air conditioning and ventilation. This position also requires the successful candidate to possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License. Candidate must have own transportation to report to other college locations as assigned. Candidate must be able to be forklift certified within one year of employment.

    Working Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

    Key Responsibilities : This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.

    • Maintains and repairs HVAC and refrigeration equipment with supervision. Maintains and repairs hydronic systems and electrical controls and equipment to include replacing belts and filters. Works on high and low voltage.
    • Maintains, repairs and operates energy management system. Operates and maintains digital controls and pneumatic controls.
    • Coordinates work with other departments and sub-contractors.

    **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: **

    • Requires medium to heavy work that involves walking, standing, stooping, lifting, pushing or raising objects, exerting between 20 to 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis.
    • Must be able to work various shifts and locations as assigned based on the needs of the College.
    • Must have strong organizational skills, as well as effective oral and written communication.
    • Must have computer knowledge to be able to perform job related tasks, clock in/out, and view personnel related information (i.e., paycheck, W-2, etc.).

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Two years in a clinical environment with data processing/specimen handling experience. Graduate of heath/ medical assistant or similar training program at an accredited institution where general laboratory technique is taught.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have the ability to perform all duties with accuracy and attention to detail
