Housing and a meal stipend are provided. The EOF Summer Staff Coordinator will be expected to work up to 35 hours per week. Evenings and weekends required. DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Director of EOF, the EOF Summer Staff Coordinator assists with the overall coordination of the EOF Summer Program. The EOF Summer Residential Hall Coordinator assists with the oversight of, academic support, leadership programming and career development components that target the mission and goals of the EOF Summer Program. This is a live-in position. Duties/Responsibilities: * Assists with the supervision, training and evaluation of the student supplemental instruction leaders and tutors. * Oversees Resident Programming Assistant (RPA) program planning and delivery of proposed summer events. * Responsible for the overall supervision of the EOF Summer Study Institute. * Responsible for the daily administrative functions to include updating and compiling daily reports. * Develops Pre-Freshmen Summer Studies Program events calendar.

    • Coordinates and participates in the Pre-Freshmen Summer Program orientation weekend activities. * Coordinates EOF Summer Program orientation. * Assists with the coordination of the EOF summer career exposure programs and escorts students to off campus work sites. * Serves as lead point person for events. * Coordinates the selection process for project volunteers and supervises volunteers. * Assists with the documentation records of event arrangements to include correspondence, promotional materials, programs and budget materials. * Assists office manager with main office related duties. * Assists with the preparation of area budgets, secures all budgetary approvals, arranges for disbursement of funds to cover project expenses and completes expenditure reports. * Serves as teaching assistant for EOF Summer Seminar course and Academic Modules. * Attends and supervises selected weekday and weekend events. * Assists with the coordination of the EOF Transitions Workshop. * Prepares written agendas and conducts RPA programming-related staff meetings. * Constructs weekly reports and forwards to supervisor. * Attends periodic in-service training sessions on/off campus conferences, workshops/seminars. * Attends selected summer planning meetings. * Other duties are assigned. * Required to drive students to events/train station using a Ramapo van. * Drivers license required. Education/Experience: REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Rising college seniors and/or college graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in student services, first year experience, student development, programming, residence life, multi-cultural affairs is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills a must and a demonstrated commitment to student success a plus. All applicants must be in good academic and student conduct standing with Ramapo College of New Jersey. EXPERIENCE: Preferred candidates should have at least one-year work experience in student staff supervision and training. Event planning and program development experience/knowledge is required.
