The Ravinia guest experience is more than the performance on stage. Our beautiful, welcoming park is what makes listening to music at Ravinia truly special, and we’re excited to open our gates to concertgoers again. From morning to night, each of our employees contributes to making live music at Ravinia extraordinary.
Attendants at Ravinia Music Box -- an immersive media experience that explores the power of music -- guide patrons through the experience, quickly, safely and efficiently. They provide great service and hospitality to ensure the best possible entertainment and educational impact.
General Responsibilities:
Greet patrons
Answer questions about the experience and the park
Operate touch-screen control panels in each room of the experience
Monitor standby lines and inform patrons of wait times
Ensure that patrons follow the rules and move through the space in a timely manner
Light cleaning/sanitizing of theater seating
Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfort working with the public
Flexible schedule that includes evening hours on weekdays and weekends
All Ravinia employees must be at least 16 years of age

Additional Information
This position is a mix of indoors and outdoors and in all weather conditions with prolonged periods of standing. It requires mostly afternoon/evening hours. Applicants must be available for both weekday and weekend hours.
The Ravinia season runs from July 1 – September 30. Ravinia Music Box opens to the public in early August. Priority in hiring will be given to applicants who are available to work through the end of September.
