The Ravinia guest experience is more than the performance on stage. Our beautiful, welcoming park is what makes listening to music at Ravinia truly special, and we’re excited to open our gates to concertgoers. From morning to night, each of our employees contributes to making live music at Ravinia extraordinary.

As a Security Staff member, you are responsible for enforcing park rules, including public health protocols, throughout the grounds. You provide public safety functions to guests on the lawn and in the pavilion, as well as help patrons with departure from the park. Shifts vary from park open to park close.

General Responsibilities

• Ensuring park rules are followed, including current health protocols
• Making sure guests and staff feel safe
• Helping guests when asked, or being aware when a guest may need help
• Becoming very familiar with Ravinia and our policies
• Assisting patrons exit the park after the concert
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Law enforcement or security experience required
• Able to calmly handle many different situations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to address concerns and show empathy towards others
• Flexible in scheduling that includes evening hours on weekdays and weekends
• Security team members must be at least 18 years of age

• The Ravinia season runs from June through September. Priority in hiring will be given to applicants who are available to work the entire season.
• This position is outdoors and in all weather conditions with prolonged periods of standing.
• It requires mostly afternoon/evening hours. Applicants must be available for both weekday and weekend hours.
