Regional Recruitment Director
This position will be located in the Mid-Atlantic or Southeast Region of the US, which includes Washington, DC, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA and/or Florida and will report to the Assistant Dean of Admission.
Xavier University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, is seeking applications for the position of Regional Recruitment Director. The main objective for this position is to establish and promote the Xavier brand, increase enrollment, and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and families as well as school and independent counselors.
The Regional Recruitment Director is the primary University representative in their geographic region, and in collaboration with Undergraduate Admission leadership, will create and execute a cost-effective territory recruitment plan using data and regular analysis to inform decisions. The recruitment territory will be determined by the area in which the individual lives, but may include Washington, DC, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA and/or Florida.
In addition to recruitment activities, the Regional Recruitment Director will be responsible for reviewing applications for admission from their geographic territory, maintaining personal contact with prospective students, families and counselors, and innovating programming to connect prospective students with the Xavier community, including alumni groups.
It is expected that the Regional Recruitment Director will also be involved in their local and regional professional associations
As a regional representative, the individual will be responsible for the set up and maintenance of a home office space, and will participate in virtual group and individual meetings. The expectation is that the Regional Recruitment Director will travel to campus at least twice during the year for admission events and staff training opportunities. This is one of ten regionally-based admission positions at Xavier.
Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree; 5 years’ experience in higher education admissions, counseling or a related field of education; valid driver’s license. This position will require extensive travel and work extended hours and weekends as needed. Ability to work collaboratively from a remote location and self-motivation is essential.
Preferences : Master’s degree preferred; skills in some or all components of Microsoft Office. Experience with Slate or a comparable CRM is a plus. Must have strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and diplomacy.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a frequent basis. Also required is the ability to listen, hear, speak, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and stand for intermittently long periods of time. Must be able to operate a vehicle and travel independently.

§ Trade school technical certification/training and/or an Associate’s degree in instrumentation/controls or similar or experience in a related field is required.
§ Knowledge/experience of systems, motors, instrumentation and controls.
§ Ability to interpret data and perform process adjustments to optimize system performance.
§ Troubleshooting of instrumentation and controls.
§ Knowledge of PLC controls/communication is beneficial.
§ Knowledge of blowers and refrigeration is beneficial.
