The role of the Research Assistant is to assist with collection of research data through travelling to patient homes in New York City using public transportation, perform informed consent, and interview patients and caregivers using standardized, IRB approved methods.

The Research Assistant will also:

• Schedule initial and follow-up research appointments
• Maintain records within RedCAP and Qualtrics
• Work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator in all facets of study operations.
• May take part in performing literature reviews, developing manuscripts for publication, and developing intervention content.

• Must be a Ph.D. student with experience in Hospice or Palliative Care

• Must be a Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Medical Social Worker (i.e. Ph.D. Student; MSW; LCSW or LMSW)
