Role: Residence Assistant

Location: Pasadena, CA

Salary: $19-$24 / hour (Room & Board Eligible)

About the role

In this role, you will have responsibility for the smooth running of the residence and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.

Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:

• Plan and manage student arrivals and departures.
• Liase closely with catering and residence suppliers.
• Ensure accommodation meets high standards of quality, cleanliness, and comfort.
• Monitor cafeteria flow and student behavior during dinner hours.
• Plan and lead evening activities on-campus, ensuring student remain engaged.
• General student welfare and discipline.
• Address problems and emergency situations should they arise.
• Share after-hours, on-call duties on a rotational basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Organized with a high level of attention to detail.
• Capable of using your own initiative.
• Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Attend a training weekend before your contract commencing.
