Avid4 Adventure, voted #3 on Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work in 2017, empowers kids to choose an active, outdoor lifestyle. Outdoor Educators are the cornerstone of our staff team, providing support, mentorship, and instruction directly to our campers with enthusiasm, empathy, and passion. Outdoor Educators provide 24-hour care for our campers and act as their primary support while in cabin, in program, on expeditions, and more. This role will report to the Manager of Staff Experience.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Bachelor's degree in science, education, or related field preferred.
• Wilderness First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Experience in a summer camp setting is preferred, with experience in at least 1 of the following: climbing, biking, kayaking, canoeing, or backpacking.
• Experience leading youth and a passion for working with kids.
• Ability to handle high-stress environments and handle variety of tasks.

Dates:

• Pre-Season Training: June 6-16, 2018
• Camp Dates: June 17- July 29 (Windy Peak); June 17-August 12 (Mt. Evans)
