The internship for the Implant/CMP Equipment group will offer the candidate the opportunity to experience a wide variety of experiences in the real life day to day job of an engineer.  From experimenting with using Arduino type microcontrollers on our tools to enhancing the documentation that we use for working on the production tools.  Each project that has been selected for completion will expose a different aspect of the continuous improvement process that we go through every year to improve productivity, improve safety and reduce mistakes.

The candidate will work with both the CMP and Implant teams to work on some electrical and advanced circuit installation projects as well as develop some procedures to assist in the assembly, installation and troubleshooting of the new external sensor systems.

We are currently expanding our internal machine shop and 3D printing abilities and would like to work toward developing some of our own internally built replacement parts, upgraded parts and custom built circuit boards.  Someone that has experience in CAD, CNC/Lathe or Arduino programming experience would be preferred.  If not...then maybe this could be a learning experience for you as well.
