ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

General:

1. Set up and tear down dynamic learning spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs.

2. Lead check-in activities, guide families, and manage paperwork.

3. Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities for students.

4. Connect with families during interactions.

5. Escort students to dining halls, covering up to a mile.

6. Assist with additional tasks as directed.

Instructional:

1. Deliver curriculum to small classes of around 8 students.

2. Encourage students to meet curriculum goals.

3. Enforce safety rules and behavior management techniques.

Health, Safety, and; First-Aid:

1. Supervise and maintain a safe environment.

2. Respond to critical incidents and document as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a passion for knowledge spanning two or more subjects central to the program. In addition, they must demonstrate flexibility, energy, positivity, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills. A background working with kids and teens, and/or camp experience is highly recommended. The ideal candidate would have completed 2+ years of college. Applicants under 18 will not be considered. Based on work location, candidates may be required to provide proof of vaccinations, including for COVID-19.

PAY

The pay for this position varies by work location:

1. California: $17-$19.50/hr

2. Colorado: $18.50/hr

3. New York: $16/hr

4. Seattle: $20/hr for day staff, $1,200/week for staff working overnight schedule

5. Other Washington locations: $16.50/hr

6. Other locations: To be discussed in interview

7. This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law.
