  • Responsibilities

    The Quality Analyst provides assistance with all aspects of Quality/Risk Management, Infection Prevention and Control/Case Management under the direction of the Manager of Quality Services.

    • Assists Director/Manager of Quality Services, Infection Preventionist and Employee Health as needed.
    • Assists with performance improvement and regulatory data extrapolation, entry & analysis
    • Planning, coordinating, leading & tracking hospital-wide compliance audits & rounds
    • Assists in assuring the department is compliant with the standards of regulatory agencies.
    • Develop/coordinate/track and present educational training for hospital staff to support quality metrics/measures
    • Assists with investigation reviews of patient events (RCAs, FMEAs, Pt grievances/complaints, etc.)
    • Assists with preparation of regulatory reports (TJC, EOC, etc.)
    • Assists in the preparation of packets/binders for Quality Council, MEC, and other meetings, as needed.
    • Creates presentations using performance improvement data.
    • Assists with special projects as directed by Supervisor
    • Staff education related to scope
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION                                                                                                                 

    • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION                                                                                          

    • RN Licensure Required
    • BLS Required

    SPECIFIC JOB EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum two years’ experience in nursing
    • Performance Improvement and/or educator experience preferred

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Strong communication and people skills
    • Proficiency/technical expertise with MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to deal tactfully with physicians as well as with employees
    • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to utilize Electronic Health Care Record for patient documentation.
  • Qualifications

    LEAD TEACHER REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Childhood Development Associate (CDA) or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
    • Previous hands-on teaching experience in a kindergarten or after-school program preferred
    • High level of flexibility and willingness to work all shifts
    • Must be at least 18 years old
