Haymarket Surgery Center is a multi- specialty outpatient surgery practice that is committed to patient excellence in every facet of patient contact.  Haymarket Surgery Center serves both an adult and pediatric patient population and our team strives to create a comfortable environment for patients while delivering the highest quality surgical care.  We are seeking an experienced OR RN to join our facility in a full time shift capacity. Our scope of service includes orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, and spine surgery.

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.  Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; candidates may be required to scrub and manage effectively the preparation of operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as well. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric as well as pediatric patients.  We are seeking a team-player with a strong commitment to patient excellence and advocacy.

Required Skills

• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of VA

• Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as a circulator required.

• BSN preferred.
