Duties and Responsibilities: The Archives Assistant supports the mission of the college by working with the Reference/Archives Librarian by assisting in the college archives and working on archive related projects; provides support in use of archival databases; assists with digital imaging and maintenance of archival materials; creates exhibits and publications, both print and virtual, based on archival materials. SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE* Provide support in use of archival databases. Assist with digital imaging and maintenance of archival materials. Creates exhibits and publications, both print and virtual, based on archival materials. Work with reference/Archives Librarian on the day-to-day activities of the college archives. Minimum Qualifications: Position requires a college degree and relevant experience in an archive desirable, accuracy and ability to handle details, ability to meet deadlines, good communication skills, willingness to work in cooperation with others, computer experience helpful but training can be provided.
