Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking an IST Analyst II for the department of Department of Information Systems and Technology. Under the direction of the Analyst I Clinical Systems, the IST Analyst II participates in the planning, development, implementation and on-going support of clinical information systems for Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). * Performs analysis, testing and implementation of procedures on EHR systems to resolve complex clinical problems. * Develops testing strategies according to system build and downstream system requirements. * Takes the lead in training Faculty, Students and Staff and assists with the development and implementation of detailed training programs and materials. * Documents, updates and maintains detailed project plans, and procedures. * Performs needs analysis on faculty/staff and students related to clinical technology needs. * Interacts with end users and other technical areas to define technical scope, gathers requirements and compiles data. * Provides classroom, WebEX and video based training to students, faculty and staff. * Acts as a liaison between IT, project team members and the end user community. * Participates in the development and delivery of effective training to the user community for optimal system usage. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Established ability to maintain and assist in managing project work plans. * Demonstrated interpersonal skills working in a service oriented environment. * Effective written and oral communications is a must. * Established organizational and problem solving skills required. * Ability to work independently or in teams. Preferred Qualifications * Clinical and/or Technical classroom training experience. * Prior experience with axiUm (Dental institution management system) or similar software. * Prior experience with Clinical and/or Academic software. * Experience with Microsoft Office products, including excel, Visio and project.
