This an intellectually challenging job that allows you to make a profound difference in the lives of your students and society as large as you help the next generation of college students prepare for their exams. It’s hard to adequately describe the satisfaction you’ll get when your students contact you on score release day to tell you how well they did, and how they couldn’t have done it without you.

Who Can Apply:

TPR Instructors don’t fit a typical profile; they come from many different backgrounds and walks of life. We have college students, grad students, high school teachers and college professors on our staff, but we also employ bright, dynamic individuals working in completely separate industries. We offer an industry-leading teacher training program and teaching experience is not a formal job requirement. However, in your application process, you will need to demonstrate strong aptitude for both teaching and standardized test-taking. If you are sharp-witted, dynamic and able to command the attention and respect of a room full of students, love helping others learn and can score highly on our qualifying test, this job is for you.

• Bright, engaging, dynamic presence in front of the classroom

• Teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, but not required – we’ll train you!

• Competitive prior SAT scores preferred, but not required – you will be required to take a qualifying test

• At least one year of availability to teach

• A car for transportation is preferred, but not required.
