Boston University is seeking customer service–oriented individuals to join the Department of Public Safety, Residence Safety team. In this role, you will interact regularly with students, staff, and guests, serving as a key presence in maintaining a safe and welcoming residential environment by facilitating access control into the dorms on the Charles River Campus.

Responsibilities include:
Monitor access of residents and guests to large residential buildings on campus, enforcing guest and University policies
Verify guest passes and confiscate misused, damaged, or altered identification.
Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, security) by notifying appropriate authorities.
Communicate incidents via phone or radio and complete detailed Incident and Fire Alarm Reports.
Serve as a front-line representative of the University, providing information and assistance.
Monitor video systems and report suspicious activity or equipment issues.
Attend required training sessions and regularly review operational procedures.
Required Skills
