    Job Description

    Reporting to the Lead of Account Management, the Creative Agency Finance and Operations Senior Associate will have a range of critical responsibilities to ensure the Success Academy Creative Agency runs efficiently and effectively. A successful candidate will combine excellent analytical and strategic skills to both optimize operational workflows and thoroughly plan and manage the agency budget.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Proficient in financial planning and budget management
    • Skilled in analyzing financial data and forecasting future financial needs to ensure the efficient use of budget
    • Proficient with technology; knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
    • Ability to develop and implement budgetary policies and procedures to maintain fiscal responsibility and accountability
    • Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets efficiently and accurately, ensuring data integrity and generating actionable insights
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating objectives, strategies, and expectations to team members and stakeholders
    • Proven ability to identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to streamline processes and increase efficiency
    • Experience working cross-functionally with different teams to streamline processes and improve overall operational performance
    • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Desire and passion in working with a mission-driven organization

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the financial health of the Agency team including:
      • Annual budget planning and quarterly forecasting adjustments
      • Optimization and ongoing maintenance of financial tracking and reporting system
      • Partner with Agency leadership to plan and manage their respective budget line items
      • Open purchase orders and process invoices
      • Liaise with FP&A and Accounts Payable teams using Coupa, Vena and other platforms
    • Onboard new vendors to our financial systems; oversee vendor payments, vendor relations, and contract renewals
    • Audit, streamline and optimize operational workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across the Creative Agency
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals
    • Identify and mitigate operational risks, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize project disruptions and maximize efficiencies
    • Provide guidance and support to team members on operational best practices and procedures
    • Lead individual projects and initiatives, with direction from the leadership team, that fall outside our standard campaign work (i.e. cultural initiatives, executive-level requests, vendor research and outreach, sector research, etc.)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting is preferred
    • Experience in budget planning and management required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets with a strong command of functions and formulas
    • Experience in people operations and cross-functional project management is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing and executing standardized business processes
    • Experience in operations within a small or medium-sized team a plus
    • Experience with Monday.com, Vena and Coupa a plus, but not required
    • Ability to perform certain administrative tasks, such as scheduling larger meetings and completing expense reports

    Compensation Range

    Annual Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00
