The Technology Division at Success Academy is the chief provider of technology infrastructure, application services, security, and support. The Division partners with teams across the organization to equip students, teachers, leaders and staff with the innovative technology tools and know-how necessary to achieve academic and operational excellence.

Success Academy seeks a Senior Project Manager to partner with our Creative Agency (Marketing) in managing and delivering a portfolio of projects executed within our Creative Agency (Marketing). This role will have to closely collaborate with other developers, team members, and stakeholders in creating and implementing project work.

Position : Technology Senior Project Manager

Definition : Responsible for discovery, planning and delivery of new and existing Success Academy projects including marketing, websites and third party integrations

Location: New York, New York 10005

Reporting: The Technology Senior Project Manager will report to the Head of Tech Project and Portfolio Management

SUMMARY

You will join the Success Academies Technology Project Management team which is responsible for the ideation, discovery, budgeting, planning, execution and monitoring of all Technology projects across the Enterprise.

COMPETENCIES

The Sr. Project Manager role will be a key contributor to our mission of driving innovation across the Enterprise. Reporting to the Head of Project and Portfolio Management, this role will be responsible for building and managing end-to-end project plans, monitoring and reporting progress, effectively managing scope and dependencies, proactively mitigating risks, ensuring that the projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality specification . This role will be part of a highly collaborative team of professionals with a wide range of skills including business analysis, and project management.

As a Senior Project Manager working with the SA Creative Agency (Marketing) , you will be responsible for planning, executing and maintaining a portfolio of projects to support our Enterprise goals and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with our internal Agency (Marketing) Leadership to conduct and manage the governance of a portfolio of requests / projects.

• Acts as project lead, managing cross-functional teams with responsibilities for project schedule and performance. Gather and document business requirements.

• Communicate regularly and effectively with project stakeholders

• Determine objectives, set priorities, and manage the iterative development process.

• Ensure that business outcomes are defined, approved, and delivered. Be responsible for benefits realization, and ensure that benefits are delivered in the best way possible

• Utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents. Manage the ongoing support and resolution of bugs and issues, and document changes as appropriate.

• Build and maintain a Portfolio roadmap and align with appropriate stakeholders.

• Preparing affected business areas for transition to new way of working; potentially implementing new business processes

• Act as technical POC for third party integrations and implementations including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Instapage, Wordpress, and Salesforce

• Work with engineers, project managers, content producers, and designers from groups outside of Tech at SA

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, information systems) or related experience.

• 5+ years experience as a project manager.

• Excitement, energy, and strong people skills including excellent communication capabilities at all levels.

• Strong customer service and business analysis skills, with a focus on working with a diverse group of users to understand and solve problems.

• Strong project management skills with a focus on driving and delivering results.

• Experience with Marketing teams and video production preferred but not required.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
