    Job Description

    The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for Part-Time Service Associates within Three Leaf Catering in our campus Hospitality department. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.

    Service Associate

    Join the dynamic Three Leaf Catering Team operating within the Center for Culinary Excellence (CCE) as a Service Associate! This essential back of house role is crucial to the success of Three Leaf Catering, directly supporting cleanliness, safety, excellent food production and service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Foster a culture of safety and ensure a safe working environment for all staff and guests within CCE.
    • Lead and assist with cleaning all tableware and kitchen equipment.
    • Support dish room operations, including setup, organization and cleaning.
    • Operate the dish machine, ensuring proper sorting of trays, glass, utensils, carts and equipment.
    • Maintain cleanliness and care of kitchen equipment.
    • Manage waste, emptying all trash, cardboard and recycling containers.
    • Collaborate effectively with the dish team on a daily basis.
    • Assist in the reorganization of all kitchen and event serviceware across the Center of Culinary Excellence to maintain efficiency and readiness for items to be used again.
    • Assist with logistics, including loading/unloading trucks and breaking down carts.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
    • Strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to cleanliness and organization.
    • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks such as bending to clean floor drains and climbing equipment/ladders.
    • Highly dependable with a positive attitude and a proactive willingness to assist the team as needed.

    Additional Information

    Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
