    ROLE:

     

    Working as a part of a Sales Team alongside a Business Development Manager, Client Manager, Options Dealer and Options Dealer Support to provide worldwide foreign currency exchange services and cross-border payments services to corporate clients. As a part of the team the Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing their own sales strategies as well as providing support for the rest of the team.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities within the team structure to meet and exceed individual revenue and new business targets.
    • Support the Client Manager with soliciting orders, pricing up the order/trade and execute the order via client instructions.
    • Support the Business Development Manager with lead generation, client calls and client meetings.
    • Act as a regular point of contact, interacting with clients on a regular basis through telephone consultations in order to deepen relationships by providing market updates and insight on the impact of market movements.
    • Work as a part of the team to generate, motivate and support sales team efforts.
    • Work alongside back office staff to resolve potential Compliance, Operation or Credit issues of concern.
    • Manage the client on-boarding process for the team.
    • Commit to a program of continuous training and development as part of AFEX.
    • Absolute adherence to company compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
    • Participate in IT testing projects.
    • Take ownership of resolving all client queries and investigations.
    • Initiate all investigations - recalls, tracers, amendments, stop payments: this goes hand in hand with client queries above
    • Processing Schedule Payments through AFEX systems.
    • Processing Forward Drawdowns through AFEX systems.
    • Inputting wire payment requests through AFEX systems.
    • Managing the Trade Offset process through AFEX systems.
