ROLE:
The Options Sales will create and sell foreign exchange Options products to corporate clients, working in conjunction with Account Executives and also through own lead sourcing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities for Option products through prospecting, market analysis and networking.
- Build and structure Options products in Bloomberg.
- Perform ongoing analysis on new/existing client portfolios for those suitable for Options.
- Through client management via telephone solicitation: solicit orders, price up the Option and execute the order via client instructions.
- Manage the relationship with the clients and provide excellent customer service.
- On a monthly basis meet/exceed revenue and new account targets set by supervisor.
- Work alongside back office staff to resolve potential Compliance, Operation or Credit issues of concern.
- Absolute adherence to company compliance and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
Required Experience
- Strong commercial FX sales experience with a Bank or FX Broker.
- Excellent working knowledge of foreign exchange markets and their conventions.
- Proven track record of delivering foreign exchange risk management solutions.
- Experience in the creation and structuring of commercial FX options preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional deportment and the ability to persuade.
- Organization, verbal and visual presentation, and a proactive approach to sales.
- Excellent time management.
- Insight and experience to protect the company’s commercial priorities and positively drive client relationship.
- Extreme attention to detail, particularly with respect to client information and payment data
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience of analysing large data sets.
- Proven relationship builder with colleagues and clients.
- Strong understanding of the credit risks associated with the various types of FX products
- Strong appreciation of responsibilities towards regulators and its impact on the sales cycle
- Strong IT skills including knowledge of Super Derivatives, Bloomberg or Reuters
- Preferably registered and approved by OCF
