The Department of Psychology at Oklahoma City University seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position beginning in the fall of 2021.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have a completed Ph.D. and have experience and demonstrated competence in teaching and research. While the area of specialty within experimental psychology is open, candidates with strong quantitative skills and the ability to teach introductory and advanced statistics, and research design is a plus. The successful candidate is expected to involve undergraduate psychology majors in research as junior participants. Opportunities to teach in our graduate program are available.
PROMOTION AND TENURE
In addition to teaching, supervision, and advising of students, all tenure-track and tenured faculty members in the Petree College of Arts and Sciences must fulfill scholarship and service requirements as defined by the Procedures for Renewal, Promotion, and Tenure, an appendix to the Oklahoma City University Faculty Handbook. Effective teaching, scholarship, and service are required for promotion and tenure.
