    Job Description

    The Sika Senior Engineering Project and Construction Manager is responsible for managing strategic engineering and construction activities of large and complex capital projects ranging up to $50+ MM for various technology platforms. This role is accountable for managing projects from initiation to completion including overall project and engineering scope, design, and construction management, and ensuring delivery to established project goals including budget, schedule, and quality.

    This role can be located in Marion or Beachwood, OH, Lyndhurst, NJ, or remote.

    Qualifications

    Provide engineering expertise in the following areas: Process Optimization, Process Controls, Instrumentation and Electrical Systems, Mechanical Reliability, Plant Troubleshooting, Maintenance Programs and Process Safety

    ** Qualifications/Experience:**

    • Education: BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical preferred) or related technical discipline.
    • 20 years of relevant professional experience in chemical manufacturing including experience with automation and control systems. Proven track record in the management of engineering activities in chemical process plants, preferably construction chemicals (concrete polymers, cementitious systems, coatings, adhesives, and membranes). Experience in Industrial Planning and Design including Process Optimization
    • Expertise in all aspects of construction activities including proposals, negotiating, bidding, estimating, contracting, scheduling, job-costing, construction management, and problem-solving multiple-scales simultaneously.
