    Johnson County Community College is looking for an adjunct Assistant Professor to teach one or two sections of our introductory Journalism Course, JOUR 120: Mass Media and Society.

    All of the following are required for consideration: Resume/CV, Cover Letter, Unofficial Transcripts. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

    If offered the position, references will be contacted and certified transcripts for all college-level education will be required. 

    Required Skills

    Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications field

    PREFERRED

    • Master's degree in Journalism
    • Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
    • Professional experience in the media
