  • Responsibilities

    Reports to the Assistant Director. Position includes the following:

    • Manage CLACS social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
    • Promote initiatives, campaigns and events on social media working closely with Events Manager, Film Manager and Assistant Director in strategizing for those.
    • Engages online communities, partners and stakeholder on various SM platforms
    • Work with Assistant Director to develop publishing calendar and guidelines, as well as in short-long term engagement strategies
    • Coordinate and publish event recaps on social media

  • Qualifications
    • Eligibility: Positions are open to currently enrolled students at NYU.
    • Duration: Appointments are made by semester; it is typical for students to be reappointed in the spring semester.
    • Schedule: The hours listed for each position are approximate, and assume 15 weeks of work per semester. Given the variable nature of outreach and public programming, some weeks may require more hours and others less. For the same reasons, some hours will be on a fixed schedule, and others will vary according to the needs of the project. You will never be asked to work during your scheduled class time.
    • Pay: Positions are paid biweekly.
