    Summer Intern, Office of the President Job Description This summer internship is for any undergraduate or graduate student. The intern will perform a variety of general office support tasks for the Presidents Chief of Staff, the Executive Director for Diversity and Inclusion, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and the Presidents Executive Assistant. Duties include the following: · Assist with events planning and VIP tours; create event flyers and invitations · Post and monitor social media sites and update the Office of the President website · Use electronic databases and spreadsheets for compiling information pertinent to special events and initiatives · Research grants, conferences, and other opportunities for special initiatives · Research and create resource lists and key messages for special initiatives and audiences · Collect and catalogue examples of documents, photos and other electronic artifacts generated by the Office of the President Job Requirements · Ability to take initiative, self-motivate and function independently · Excellent writing and verbal communication skills · Strong interpersonal skills · Accuracy and attention to detail · Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and other document management tools including Google Drive · Experienced using and/or managing social media messaging · Experienced using online web content management systems a plus In order to be considered for this position, you must submit a current resume and cover letter.
