This person will work with Bridget and the other summer farmers to educate all visitors to the farm and the Mobile Market about the mission of the farm and ensure the safety and proper management of volunteers. Primary responsibilities and opportunities include but are not limited to: o Assisting in prepping the van for market on Market Days o Engaging customers in conversations on how to prepare vegetables o Offering information about other wellness activities in Brockton Job Requirements What We Seek We are seeking dependable, communicative, good-natured individuals, ideally with an interest in sustainable agriculture and food systems related advocacy work. No farm related experience is necessary but applicant must be able and willing to perform physical labor in various weather conditions and be comfortable working independently and as a team. Intern must also be willing to speak with the public about the farm at the farm in at food pantries in neighboring communities. Additionally, applicant must be open to working occasionally on a weekend day depending up the effects of weather or other needs of the farm. Application Questions 1.
