We offer students from Europe and Asia (aged 18-24) the opportunity to spend one week to a year in the United States to improve their language skills, live with a local host familyor in a residence, and learn about American culture through fun and immersive activities.

The Role

Work side-by-side with international staffthis summer to lead activities, field trips and social events forgroups of 30-40international students. From organizing student parties and sports tournaments, to leading daytrips and weekend excursions, this is a high-energy, non-stop kindof jobthat is as rewarding and fun as it is challenging. Please note that the role is on a rotation basis and can expect to work from Tuesday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute a full schedule of activities, games, sports, field trips and excursions.
• Assist with student arrivals and departures.
• Attend all Activity Leader briefings.
• Liaise with your Manager to monitor daily attendance.
• Collect, log and bank money for optional excursions and activities.
• Deal with problems and emergency situations should they arise.
• Work effectively within a team to deliver excellence in customer experience.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Enthusiastic,confident and energetic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and punctual.
• Goes above and beyond, never settling for status quo.
• Maintains a balance between professionalism and fun.
• Comfortable leading activities, social events, sports activities and excursions for groups of 15-30 students.
• Knowledge of the local area would be an advantage but not required.
• Able to attend paid, 2-day local training prior to contract commencing.
• Fluency in English

Earnings

• $18.00-$20.00 / hour
