Through their role in the classroom, Assistant Instructors ignite a spark of learning for individual campers and small groups, helping to bring the Galileo Innovation Approach to life. Assistant Instructors are also often responsible for culture-building in the camp schedule, and spend much of their “work” time having a great time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Some college, or equivalent experience Demonstrated leadership experience Experience working with kids or in a camp setting a plus
Founded in 2002, Galileo has grown to over 100 awe-inspiring summer camp programs throughout the Bay Area, SoCal, and Chicagoland, for which we hire close to 3,000 summer staff each year. Our summer staff teams are a diverse community of leaders—the best and brightest current and aspiring educators, college students, artists, engineers, and scientists who can't wait to dazzle and inspire thousands of Galileo campers for 2-8 weeks each summer.
