    We have online and in person camps.

    Take your love for tech and children and turn it into a fun and rewarding experience during the summer! TechKnowHow, a leader in tech-focused classes for SF Bay Area students, is looking for individuals to lead students in LEGO-based hands-on summer camps. Camps for ages 5-9 range from building motorized Disney and Marvel characters and vehicles. to making games with Scratch software. For students, ages 10-12, we offer LEGO robotics. We also offer a Girls Tech Camp for ages 7-10.

    We’ll train you on how to teach the curriculum, lead team-building activities, and manage the classroom-whether in person or online. If you enjoy both tech and kids, you will have a special and rewarding experience as you teach young people how to use technology to create awesome projects.

    We are seeking Lead and Assistant Teachers for the following locations, as well as for online camps. Candidates must be available to teach at least 4 weeks in any of these areas, or online:

    Area 1: San Francisco Area 2: Campbell, Cupertino, San Jose Area 3: Piedmont, Berkeley, Oakland Area 4: Peninsula (Burlingame, San Mateo, Palo Alto) Area 5: Fremont and/or Pleasanton No housing is provided.

    LEAD INSTRUCTOR POSITION ($17-$19/hr) ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR: ($15-17/hr)

    The team manages the weekly program for approximately 20 student. They will lead campers in engaging projects and activities, and oversee indoor and recess/lunch time for in person camps, and interactive activities for the online camps. The team ensures the safety and well-being of all campers, and reports any issues to the Site Manager or Director. The ideal candidates have experience teaching, tutoring, coaching or working with student groups, along with skills compatible to teaching hands-on building and computer projects.

    TRAINING & SCHEDULE:

    Candidates must be available for training prior to the start of camp (either in-person or remotely). Work hours are typically 8:15-3:45 for lead instructors, and 8:45-5 for assistants.
