Summer Science Instructor ($346/wk + Room and Board)

Astrocamp is a unique physical science education center and summer camp located in the San Jacinto mountains of Southern California. Our science curriculum is built around hands-on lab experiences featuring lasers, explosions, and more. Summer campers spend some evening sessions looking into deep space at our state-of-the-art telescope arrays and others having a blast at social events. Our adventure programs take advantage of on-site rock wall and ropes course facilities as well as our natural surroundings. We are located on a forested 90-acre campus adjacent to a national forest, minutes away from access to world-class hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. Our diverse selection of elective classes also includes subjects ranging from arts & crafts to robotics, CSI, blacksmithing, Dungeons and Dragons, and beyond.
Training will begin in the last week of May and contracts will last through the month of July. Compensation is $346/week plus room and board. Instructors must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and random drug testing.
