Description Title: HR Coordinator Job Type: Permanent Location: Wayne, PA Opportunity: This position serves as a point-of-contact for the Sungard AS Human Resources Operations Center. He/She provides support to active employees, former employees, managers and HR staff by serving as the initial point of contact and answering inquiries. About You: You are a hardworking, team player who enjoys helping others. You are interested in developing a career in the HR industry. Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve employee questions, concerns, and inquires relating to Sungard AS policies, procedures, events and HR systems (i.e. time tracking, rewards and recognition, company intranet, etc.). Respond to employment verifications. Respond to and resolve employee questions about the Companys employee benefit offerings. Administers and processes Sungard AS Tuition Reimbursement Program. HRIS and Benefits online reporting. Assist the HR Business Partners with processing employee changes and documentation of the change. Gather information for subpoenas and audits. Required government reporting and filings. Assist managers with onboarding their new employees. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: College degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred with a minimum of H.S. Diploma or GED required. 2+ years industry experience within an HR or Customer Service Organization. Ability to effectively work in a team environment as well as independently. Desire to provide the highest levels of service to all clients of the HR department. Strong customer service skills. Extensive verbal & written, interpretive & persuasive communications. Project management, time management, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualities: Detail-minded, deadline-oriented and organized with the ability to work on many varied tasks under time pressures in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with software including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Oracle products a plus. Ability to think outside the box and make best practice business decisions.
