We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Auburn Hills, MI office. Job Responsibilities
- Processing of AP invoices for job costing, overhead, expense reimbursements, and entering against purchase orders into accounting software(Vista) for our Canadian Team.
- Reconcilement of invoices in system to vendor statements
- Communicate with vendors on payment inquiries and any account issues
- Processing of accounts receivable transactions for our Canadian Team.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments from customers
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable experience (preferably in Construction Industry a plus).
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounts receivable experience (preferably in Construction Industry a plus).
- Experience with integrated accounting software systems.
- Experience in Viewpoint Vista is preferred.
- Ability to resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Strong capability to work independently in a faced-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
