  • Responsibilities

    The Cameron Student Support Services Program has 2 openings for Math Tutors in our SSS Math Lab for the upcoming fall semester. Tutors must be available 6 to 20 hours per week. The SSS Math Lab is open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and on Fridays by appointment.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

    Preferred qualifications - Math or Sciences major. A minimum of grade of "B' or better is required in MATH 2713 (Elementary Calculus) or MATH 2215 (Calculus 1) or "A" in MATH 1513 (College Algebra).  Applicant must attach an unofficial transcript showing proof of completing one of the above courses with the application, a letter of interest for this position, and a current resume.  Past tutoring or teaching experience is preferred, but not required.  Any background is Statistics would be also be preferred.

     

    SALARY:

    Commensurate with experience.

  • Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and graduate of a surgical assist program.

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: One year experience in surgical environment preferred, experience in an ASC setting preferred.

     

    REQUIRED LICENSES: Certification from National Board of Surgical Technologists and Surgical Assisting preferred; Membership in professional organization is strongly encouraged. BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
