JOB SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the VP – Mortgage Process Management, provides support for the entire organization in systems applications and loan originations software. Trouble shoots systems issues for users and works on special projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the entire organization in such tasks as training personnel on various procedures.
- Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA and Rural Housing programs
- Though knowledge of mortgage loan origination, processing, underwriting and closings.
- Assists corporate operations through leadership, guidance and operating activities.
- Develops training methods and procedures for new software products.
- Provides technical support for loan origination and imaging systems.
- Prepares and reviews operational reports for appropriate company representatives.
- Assists corporate and branch employees in trouble shooting loan issues.
- Communicates issues with Systems and Software provider.
- Skill set of breaking down and understanding issues.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Persuasive attitude with outstanding leadership, negotiation and organizational skills; detail-oriented aptitude.
- Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate given information relative to lender requirements and underwriting guidelines; customer-service oriented with ability to handle difficult situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of the organization.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ability to coordinate several major activities simultaneously.
Required Experience
MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent in specialized training from a two-year college or technical school combined with at least five years of related experience and/or training; related supervisory experience; thorough knowledge of branch and corporate operations, loan processing and underwriting fundamentals.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Travel may be required.
