Teach LEGO® Robotics & Other Tech Skills at Summer Camp
Take your love for tech and children and turn it into a fun and rewarding summer experience! TechKnowHow, a leader in tech-focused classes for students, is looking for individuals to teach hands-on projects, such as LEGO robotics and game-making to children, ages 5-11.
We’ll train you on how to teach the curriculum, lead team-building activities, and manage the classroom. If you love both tech and kids, we want you to join our team to equip young people with the tools and ability to create awesome projects.
LEAD INSTRUCTOR POSITION
Under the direction of the Director, this position manages the weekly program for approximately 20 students, including the curriculum, and indoor and recess/lunch activities and supervision. The lead instructor also directs the activities of the assistant. The ideal candidate has experience teaching or working with student groups, along with skills compatible to teaching hands-on building and computer projects.
Teaching locations are available throughout the San Diego Area.
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR POSITION
Under the direction of the Lead Instructor and Director, this position involves assisting the Lead Instructor in teaching the curriculum, helping students with projects, and assisting in lunch and recess supervision. Assistants should have some experience working with or coaching children.
Teaching locations are available throughout the San Diego Area.
TRAINING & SCHEDULE:
Candidates must be available for training prior to the start of camp, including an orientation on the first weekend in June. Candidates must commit to a set weekly schedule of at least 4 weeks and be available to work overtime when needed.
