    The Technical Coordinator / Volleyball Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Women’s Volleyball program by leading all video, analytics, and technology-related operations. This position partners closely with the coaching staff to enhance training, game preparation, and performance through high-quality video production, data analysis, and innovative use of technology.

    The Technical Coordinator / Volleyball Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of video, statistical, and analytical support for the program, including filming practices and matches, producing and editing video content, coordinating film exchange, and assisting with scouting and game preparation. This role also serves as the primary point of contact for technology needs for the head and assistant coaches and supports permissible recruiting and compliance-related functions. At times, the position may also create team-specific or event highlight video packages.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve as the lead expert for all technology used by the Women’s Volleyball program, including but not limited to VolleyMetrics, VolleyStation, DataVolley, Teamworks, video editing platforms, and audiovisual setups for team film sessions

    • Set up, manage, and troubleshoot projectors, video monitors, and other technology for practices, meetings, and matches

    • Collaborate with Athletics IT, Campus IT, Sports Performance, and the Athletics Analytics Department to ensure seamless technical support

    • Provide day-to-day technology assistance to the head and assistant coaches, including support for video systems, iPads, laptops, and mobile devices

    • Plan, edit, produce, and compile video content used for scouting, recruiting, and game preparation

    • Film practices and matches; manage live match editing; synchronize video with statistical data; and break down opponent film using video editing systems

    • Upload and download match video in accordance with conference requirements

    • Track, analyze, and interpret statistical and performance data for practices and competitions, including opponent analysis

    • Produce daily and weekly reports that provide clear technical and statistical insights to support coaching decisions and team training

    • Assist with volleyball operations and support coaching staff as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day program operations

    In addition, you must possess the following to be considered:

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    • Two to three years of relevant experience with high level volleyball analysis

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with coaches, student-athletes, and departmental partners

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical and analytical information clearly and professionally

    • Volleyball playing and/or coaching experience, with a thorough understanding of the rules, strategies, and technical aspects of the game

    • Strong technology aptitude, including the ability to learn, manage, and troubleshoot video, data, and performance-related systems in support of program needs

    Additional Information

    Salary: Up to $60,000
