Job Description
The University of Notre Dame’s Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) **** Division is currently hiring for Temporary/On-call Dish Crew Stewards in our campus Hospitality Department. UOES leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service operations, supporting student life, academic programs, research initiatives, athletics, alumni relations, and major campus events.

This entry-level position is perfect for individuals starting their journey in a professional kitchen environment. As a Dish Steward Crew member, you'll develop foundational skills in kitchen sanitation, organization, and support, ensuring the smooth flow of operations. This position is intentionally structured with growth in mind. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and strong communication skills will be well-positioned to take on increased responsibilities and potential leadership roles as the department evolves. Future opportunities may include deeper involvement in event logistics, equipment management, and front-of-house and back-of-house collaboration - skills essential for delivering elevated service standards and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
