Job Description
The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Drivers/Detailers within our campus Transportation department. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.
Driver/Detailer
We are seeking professional, versatile individuals to join our Transportation Services team. You will serve as a key representative of the institution, ensuring that faculty, guests, and students experience safe, punctual, and comfortable transit, while maintaining our fleet to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Faculty, Staff, Guests, Trustees, Donors and Students in a professional capacity using Transportation Services vehicles and shuttle buses.
Track ridership while driving the Notre Dame Shuttle.
Pick up visitors from local airports and out of state airports.
Take on other driving assignments that require out of state driving.
Assist in driving on special occasions on campus.
Detail and clean vehicles for the MotorPool and Executive driver use.
Help keep vehicles clean and ready to go for the next driver.
Complete tasks that are asked by your Supervisor.

Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be a cautious and safe driver.
Must have impeccable customer service skills.
Some experience in driving groups of people around in a shuttle bus or other large vehicles is preferred.
Vehicle detail experience is preferred.
Additional Information
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
