The Testing Center Coordinator supervises staff for both the main campus and Mini-Cassia Outreach Center testing centers; sets staff schedules; initiates staff meetings and training for new tests; maintains consistency of proctored testing procedures; maintains center testing equipment, software, and the testing facility; administers and monitors faculty and contracted (industry) tests; tabulates testing numbers for grants and administration; and performs all paperwork needed to keep licenses, contracts, and industry agreements current.
- Recruit, hire, and train Testing Center staff; develop and maintain staff schedules.
- Set up and manage certification programs, serving as the primary point of contact for certification-related issues or support. Train staff on certification requirements and ensure annual recertification to maintain compliance with exam administration standards.
- Review and approve staff timesheets and time-off requests.
- Provide coverage for proctors who are absent at both the Twin Falls and Burley Testing Center locations.
- Serve as the primary contact for CSI instructors, providing guidance regarding exam administration and addressing student-related testing concerns.
- Track and maintain financial records related to Testing Center revenue.
- Manage and process annual licensing renewals for testing software and related services.
- Perform IT troubleshooting and oversee installation of software programs specific to Testing Center operations.
- Coordinate with Student Accessibility Services to implement necessary accommodations and programs within the Testing Center.
- Prepare reports and provide updates to administration regarding Testing Center operations.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance both student and industry testing services.
- Maintain and monitor testing equipment; submit requests for replacement or new equipment as needed.
- Develop and implement a Unit Development Plan for each academic year.
- Ensure compliance with testing guidelines established by faculty, departments, and external testing organizations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of test materials and student information.
- Report testing irregularities and academic integrity violations in accordance with institutional policies.
Level of Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
