Responsibilities * Assist the Director of Web with daily functions of the web and social media as assigned. Use sound independent judgment when performing duties. Assist with the maintenance and development of web content and social media as assigned. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience: * TAMIU student with a major in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in using WordPress and Cascade CMS. * Experience working web content. * Knowledge of HTML. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Strong computer knowledge, including Outlook, Word, and Excel * Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. * Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public. * Must possess excellent customer service and teamwork skills. * Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, as well as attend to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and assignments and recommending, and implementing changes.
