    • The machinist will read the sketches or drawings to determine the tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences while utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machinability of materials, and shop math.
    • Enters commands or manually adjusts machine controls to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Operates machine manually to perform nonautomated functions or when machine malfunctions.
    • Must maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area and machine to aid in the efficient operation of the CNC machine.
    • Perform dimensional inspection of machined parts using basic measuring instruments commonly required during parts inspection (calipers, micrometers, gages, etc…).
    • Complies with all policies and procedures required by management.
    • Maintains a professional and cooperative relationship with all supervisors and coworkers.
    • Informs supervisory personnel when raw product, events or finished products are not conforming to required standards.
