    SUMMARY

    The IT Support Technician III delivers an exceptional customer service experience to City Bank employees requesting IT assistance via phone, email, and onsite visits. The technician assists with password resets, answers how-to questions and resolves cases related to hardware/software issues as first call resolutions. He or she is the primary contact for escalated issues requiring additional analysis and research. The IT Support Technician III will have opportunities to cross-train with fellow team members and strengthen their skill set technically, analytically, and professionally. The ideal candidate for this position should work well in a team environment, have a high regard to customer service, and have a passion for serving others with technology issues.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    1. Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to internal employees seeking IT assistance.
    2. Diagnose and troubleshoot various hardware/software issues with computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
    3. Mentor and coach fellow technicians to increase their IT knowledge and enhance their skills to best support internal employees seeking IT assistance.
    4. Assist with desktop administration tasks such as computer imaging, asset management, hardware/software installation, and system upgrades.
    5. Install, move, or configure IT assets such as computers, printers, projectors, scanners, and other peripherals.
    6. Effectively communicate and be able to translate his/her technical knowledge into actionable direction. Be able to perform research, come up with a solution and escalate issues to affected stakeholders, vendors and department management team to ensure adherence with established Service Level Agreements.
    7. Work closely with other Client Services personnel to promote knowledge and confidence.  
    8. Create instructional aides, workflows, and knowledge articles as needed to help support internal and external users.
    9. Other duties as required by the Business Solutions Manager or department.

    Required Skills

    2 Year Degree

    Working Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 2016 or higher

    Ability to type at least 40 words per minute

    Required Experience

    Two or more years’ cumulative experience working in an IT support role
