Job Description
The Wilma and Peter Veldman Family Psychology Clinic at the University of Notre Dame is seeking a Therapist Specialist to join our collaborative, mission-driven team. This clinician will play a central role in expanding access to effective mental health care across St. Joseph County through the Universal Wellness Project (UWP)—a partnership between the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern University dedicated to bringing evidence-based single-session interventions (SSIs) and single-session consultations (SSCs) to youth and families in community and school settings.
About the Clinic
The Veldman Family Psychology Clinic is Notre Dame’s premier center for clinical science, training, and community mental health. As part of the College of Arts & Letters, the clinic brings together faculty, staff, and students who are pioneering innovative research, delivering exceptional clinical care, and preparing the next generation of mental health professionals. Our work is deeply grounded in the University’s mission to be a force for good—with a particular focus on expanding access to evidence-based, high-quality mental health services for underserved populations in our community and around the world.
Position Overview
The Therapist Specialist will provide direct clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, and families while serving in a leadership role to implement and disseminate single-session interventions (SSIs) and single-session consultations (SSCs) across St. Joseph County through the Universal Wellness Project.
