    An educator to join our newly launched and growing Advanced Full Stack Web Development Program. We are especially interested in those who have experience as a Web Developer and it would be great if you have also previously taught online in the areas of Web Development, or related field.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Provide an educational experience where each student has the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual and emotional growth.
    • Prepare and implement activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
    • Actively engage in individual, or small group, tutoring and remediation using synchronous and asynchronous tools.
    • Integrate established, and emerging, teaching and learning strategies into the classroom and student interactions.
    • Conduct proactive and reactive student outreach frequently.
    • Provide individualized and timely feedback on student assessments.
    • Provide regular feedback to the Faculty Chair on student progress or opportunities.
    • Participate in training and program meetings.
    • Assist with curriculum updates and development as subject matter expert.
    • Other special projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 4 YEARS OF VERIFIABLE WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE WEB DEVELOPMENT FIELD.
    • Previous experience teaching online would be great but is not necessary
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Programming, Web Development, or related field required. Graduate degree a plus!
    • Expertise and hands-on experience with various web applications, programming languages, and web development tools such as HTML, CSS, Linux, JavaScript, SQL, API's, AJAX, RxJS, Redux, MobX, NGINX, and Apache
    • Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously including MS Office programs, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, etc.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the professional career paths in industry and demands of the training field

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or 2 years related field preferred.
    • Demonstrates excellent leadership skills; Prior supervisory experience.
    • At least two years of experience in Human Services working with adolescents.
    • Must have valid driver’s license; Must meet Agency requirements for driving history records.
    • Must pass a CORI within the standards identified by EEC.
    • Must have availability of an automobile to transport clients or perform other supportive services as necessary.
    • Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish) and bicultural encouraged to apply.

    • To be flexible in accommodating forty (40) hours of work per week in order to adapt to the hours required for the program’s operation as planned and requested by the Program Director.
    • To provide supervision as indicated of the consumer’s prescribed medications and record this in his/her progress notes.
    • To work closely with Direct Care Staff to better coordinate and service the consumer.
    • Represents Agency in a professional manner.
